During the 13th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, a IP circuit tribunal is to be set up by the courts in Shenzhen in order to provide an efficient and quick legal services to the exhibitors.
The IPR circuit tribunal consists of members from Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court and the district courts in Shenzhen. The duty of the circuit court is to enhance public awareness of IPR, strengthen publicity of IPR protection, receive IPR infringement complaints, provide guidance related to legal action, mediate intellectual property disputes, and provide legal consulting service for investment, organization and negotiation during the Fair.
The first China Hi-Tech Fair opened in 1999, and now it is the largest and most influential exhibition on high technologies in China. As an effective platform for cooperation and commercialization of hi-technologies, CHTF is set up to providing traders and investors from home and abroad with an easy access to business, the new hi-tech achievements, and trends in the development of hi-technologies.
