As a result of the growing number of cases related to intellectual property, and in order to avoid any potential conflicts with the foreign IP holders, it is learnt that China will take an active step in going out and introducing Chinese intellectual property system to foreign countries. This is the first event of its kind since China adopted the reform and open-up policy. One of such event was first held in US and was focused on the China intellectual property international cooperative forum.
According to the Ministry of Commerce, overseas aid center of IP for Chinese enterprises have been established to help more Chinese companies in “going out” through providing information service, legal consultation service, international exchanging and training, research and IP publicity. Besides, the pre-warning for Chinese enterprises is also set up so that the enterprises can take an active attitude in protecting themselves in the international market.
