The 110th China Import and Export Fair (the Canton Fair) is to open on October 15 in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. According to the spokesman of the Canton Fair, efforts would be taken by relevant departments under the Ministry of Commerce, representatives of trade groups, and experts to formulate Guidance regulating the complaint center of the fair. The guidance is to interpret the details in handling the booths which infringe the intellectual property.
An Agreement on intellectual property rights protection was also jointly signed among trade groups, associations and enterprises to pre-check the exhibit products and to prohibit the possibility of IPR infringement and to protect the legitimate rights and interests of exhibitors from aboard and at home.
