Recently, the fourth China Trademark Festival was held on Sept 5 to 8 in Chengdu, Sichuan province. In the closing party, NTD Patent and Trademark Agency was elected as “2011 Chinese outstanding trademark agency” and Mr. Christopher Shen, Vice President of NTD, represented the firm to accept the award and also gave a speech on behalf of 30 awarded agencies.
In the International Trademark Law Practice Forum under 2011 China Trademark Annual Meeting, the Confucius Institute case represented by NTD, together with other 4 successful cases were recognized as China’s achievements in overseas IP protection and were jointly elected as one of the top 10 Most Remarkable Trademark Events of 2010 in China.
During the Typical Trademark Cases Review and Analysis Forum under 2011 China Trademark Annual Meeting, Christopher Shen was invited as guest speaker and gave a successful speech on overseas Chinese trademark protection. He also presided over the following annual meeting of “China Trademark Association and Japanese Patent Association”.
