Recently, an IPR-related exhibition demonstrating the achievements of the national special campaign against IPR violations opened in Beijing, which can be viewed at www.ipraction.cn.
The website is to show to the world the attitude and determination of Chinese government in combating the infringement and counterfeit activities in IP field. The recent campaign was launched in October 2010 until June of 2011. The website gives a clear view of the progress made in the campaign. Chinese government hopes that by display of the typical cases, the social public can have more awareness for protecting the IP rights.
The exhibition is divided into five parts such as “launching of special campaign”, “protection of intellectual property”, “cracking down of pirated and fake goods”, “promotion of using legitimate software” and “outlook of the future development”. Concentration was made on the cases settled during the campaign. During the exhibition on the internet, other services were available to the public such as the on-line discussion, identification of fake goods, complaint guidance, information services, and messages from the audience. It is said that the internet exhibition will be available for 3 continuous months during which there will be days when the public and the experts or leaders from the related agencies or enterprises will be invited to have on-line exchange of views and discussions.
The exhibition was launched in Chinese and English language and can be accessed by the North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa..
