Recently, China Broadcasting Copyright Committee which is directly under the China Radio and Television Association was established in Beijing. The committee is a non-profit voluntary organization with members from radio stations across the country, and is dedicated to improving the management and protection of copyright within China's broadcasting industry, promoting the healthy competition among Chinese broadcasting media and strengthening the production and exchange of radio programs.
There are a total of 140 members under the committee. In order to improve the comprehensive administration of the broadcasting industry, joint actions will be taken to protect the copyright. Additionally, the Committee will provide the members with information of copyright protection, carry out activities for copyright protection, and support the members in copyright litigation and arbitration and improve the whole level of copyright management.
