In order to promote the Special Campaign against IP infringement and manufacture and sale of counterfeit and fake products by the State Council, the State Intellectual Property Office (hereinafter SIPO) recently put forward 7 specific measures for IPR enforcement(hereinafter the measures).
The 7 measures are: 1. strengthening the investigation and settlement of big patent cases and determined efforts against the repetitive, collective and willful infringement of patent and passing-off of patent; 2. organizing monthly check of enforcement by local IP offices and setting up supervising group to check the enforcement in areas such as Yangtze River Delta and Pearl Rive Delta area; 3. taking fully advantage of the roles of 67 IP aid centers across the country and the hotline of 12330. 4.enhacing the IP protection at the exhibitions; 5. intensifying the foreign-related IP protection and spending efforts in handling the patent infringement in areas such as import and export; 6. coordinating cross regions and agencies and promoting the use of both the administrative and judicial protection; 7. disseminating the IP knowledge and raising the awareness of IP protection in the public.
