From September 13 to 17, the appraisal meeting for key research projects under the 12th Five-year Plan for intellectual property (IPR) was held in Beijing. 11 projects were approved which will become the basis for the formulation of the 12th Five-year Plan for IP.
The research projects include the following areas: layout-design of Integrate Circuit, trademarks, copyrights, plant varieties in agriculture and forestry, IP services system, administrative protection of IP, judicial protection of IP, government-academy-research cooperative innovation and IP protection.
The experts at the meeting are from different agencies such as National Development and Reform Commission, State Intellectual Property Office, State Administration for Industry and Commerce, National Copyright Administration, Ministry of Agriculture, Supreme People’s Court, Tsinghua University.
