Recently, the first China Patent Information Annual Meeting was held in Beijing. At the meeting, were not only representatives from USPTO, EPO, JPO, KIPO but also more than 200 patent information service providers from China, US , Japan, the Netherlands, Korea.
The aim was to create an international platform where the information service providers can communicate with the competent authorities for IP. During the meeting, the participants discuss the use of patent information in facilitating the development of innovation in enterprises, the current situation and prospect for the construction of the public service system for patent information, and perspectives of the foreign public patent information services.
Other issues at the meeting include application of patent information, patent search system and machine translation, patent map and its application, search technology for drawings, patent information analysis and pre-warning.
