In order to carry out National IP Strategy, accelerate the commercialization of S&T fruits and provide specialized and good IPR service, China Technology Exchange, Intellectual Property Publishing House, IP Law School of Beijing University, formally started Intellectual Property One-Stop Service Platform (IPOS for short). More than a dozen IP intermediate service providers are members for the IPOS.
Within the IPOS, there are 10 sub-platforms including first-class IPR data suppliers, law firms, accountants’ offices, consultation agencies and training entities, etc. The goal of IPOS is to provide good and thorough IPR service for governmental departments, companies, S&T parks, scientific research institutions and all kinds of investment entities, help them to enhance IPR protection, improve their IPR management level and increase the commercialization rate of IPR.
According to statistics data, only 5% of the S&T achievements were commercialized, which is much lower than the rate of 30% in developed countries.
The establishment of the IPOS is to integrate IPR resources and create a favorable environment for the exploitation of IP.
