Recently, Beijing Municipal IP Office, Beijing Committee of Commerce, Beijing Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce and Beijing Municipal Copyright Bureau jointly held a meeting to urge the use of the Contract on IP Protection within Large Retailers (hereinafter the contract) among businesses in the circulation field.
In recent years, the IP protection in circulation field in Beijing has made some progress. However, some problems still exist. Businesses in the circulation field are required to set up a special IP management team and protection mechanism, strengthen IP publicity and training, and improve the IP protection.
Officials at the meeting made explanations on how to use the contract.
