It is learned from Copyright Protection Center of China (CPCC) that, as of June 30, there were a total of 35,062 copyright registrations for computer software in 2010, an increase of 24.02% as compared with the same period last year. The biggest increase is in the area of games software, an increase of 73.5%.
According to the statistics of CPCC, the number of software registrations from Shanghai, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Shandong, Jiangsu, Hubei, Fujian, Zhejiang and Guangdong grew relatively fast. and the average growth rates is over 55%; Beijing still topped the country with 10,308 pieces of registrations.
The statistics shows that, for 3 consecutive years, the number of copyright registrations for software in China has maintained a rapid growth.
