On January 14, 2026, the International Trademark Association (INTA) has officially announced its “Rising Star” award recipients for the 2025-2026 term. Nathan Yang, a partner at NTD IP Attorneys (NTD), has been selected for this honor in recognition of his profound expertise in intellectual property and his outstanding contributions within relevant INTA committees. Only four attorneys from China were awarded this distinction this year.

Nathan’s selection underscores NTD’s continued progress in nurturing professional talent and engaging with the global IP community. In addition to Nathan, several other NTD partners have also been appointed to various INTA committees for the 2026-2027 term. Moving forward, NTD will further deepen its involvement in INTA initiatives, actively contribute to the global IP community, and remain committed to providing clients worldwide with high-quality legal services informed by an international perspective.
INTA’s “Rising Star” program, launched in 2022, aims to identify and cultivate the next generation of leaders and contributors in the intellectual property industry. At the end of each year, committee chairs, vice chairs, and liaisons nominate promising individuals from their committees and networks. Selection criteria include solid IP professional capabilities or distinguished comprehensive skills, such as serving as a speaker, authoring professional articles, participating in project teams, or committee work, as well as a demonstrated commitment to the IP industry and the INTA community.
