Recently, 2010 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (also known as Auto China 2010) was held in New China International Exhibition Center. The organizers of the exhibition invited Beijing Municipal IP Office to be present and provide consultation services on IP.
IP booth was set up respectively in two different exhibition zones. This is to comply with the requirement of the provisions in the IP Protection at Beijing Exhibitions and Conferences. Administrative officials working at the booth were present to receive any complains or reports relating to the IP disputes.
During the exhibition, IP officials received 8 complaints involving IP infringement, of which 6 were formally accepted including 4 patent infringement and 2 trademark infringement. All the complaints were settled at the exhibition,
