Recently, Sichuan Provincial Government awarded a total of 25 million RMB to 25 enterprises that obtained "China Well-known Trademarks" , each receiving one million Renminbi yuan.
In 2009, 27 trademarks from Sichuan were appraised as “China Well-known Trademarks” by SAIC. This was the result of the government’s efforts in promoting the transformation of the economic growth and the competitiveness, which led to formulation of brand development and motivation program.
The awarded enterprises are required to further their independent innovation and creation, expand the effect caused by the brands and extend the brand value. More and more independent IP rights are encouraged to be created for purpose of the local economic development.
