On July 28, a national intellectual property (IP) system conference on international cooperation was held in Beijing. Lu Pengqi, Deputy Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
The meeting conveyed and studied the spirit of the Central Conference on Work Related to Neighboring Countries, reviewed the progress made in international cooperation across the national IP system over the past year, and outlined plans for the next phase of work. The meeting emphasized that the national IP system must be guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, particularly Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy and must implement the decisions and arrangements of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the State Council. Participants were urged to take proactive and responsible measures to open new chapters in international IP exchange and contribute to building China into an IP powerhouse.
Principals from the IP administrations of Heilongjiang, Shanghai, Guangxi, and Shaanxi shared their insights. Nearly 100 participants from relevant CNIPA departments and regional IP administrations attended the meeting.(Translated from CNIPA Website Chinese Version)
